New 2025 M2 rear badge

Anyone know if the badge is for sale anywhere yet? Part #? Was about to put the black on my G87, but I saw a new M4 and M5 badge with the silver outline and it looks sick.

I'm confused. Which one makes you feel sick? The new 2025 M2 badge or the M4/M5 badge?

I think he is saying the new black badge with the silver outline is sick and would prefer that over just the all black one?

Apparently, I'm not understanding what sick means. I'm also not understanding why you'd put a M4/M5 badge on an M2. I guess that I'm totally lost here.

Sick means good or cool. He doesn’t want the other badge but since MY25 in those cars has already arrived I’m guessing that is what he saw it on. The M2 badge is updated similarly for MY25.

In the OP's context, "sick" means cool/awesome.

Yes, you are missing the who subject. The MY25 G87 will have a trunk badge that is like those of the new M4/M5. It is black with a silver outline.

No. I guess I'm just old and not up on all the terminology. I'll use the urban dictionary next time.

It's not the reading part that was hard. It was understanding the use of the word in the context which was confusing because it wasn't related at all to its typical use. If I said "My friend just bought a 2022 M4 at a used car dealership. The engine is sick.", would you know what I was trying to convey? All of my life sick has had a negative connotation, but I learned something new today.

Regarding the badge, I'm glad they outlined it in silver. I think it looks better than it would if it was simply black.

Not sure how old you are but using the term sick as a positive is from the 80s at least

Since I have a 23, do I have to gut the center console to take out the HVAC screen, buttons, and vents? What do I do about the venting running to the rear? Is there a tri-zone delete kit by BMW? And should I take a sharpie to the painted button surrounds?

Serious note, it would be nice to have 8.5 though. Well maybe, I really don't care about the extra button on the home screen. I'm so used to simply tapping the screen once or twice when I drive that it really isn't a bother.

Does anyone know if the 2024 M2 will get 8.5?
