Speed Limit Warning Re-activating by itself?
I picked up a 2024 M240i 3 weeks ago and the salesman told me that you can deactivate the speed limit warning by holding the "set" button on the steering wheel - but this needs to be done on every start of the car which I can deal with.
However, I always deactivate the warning but it will always just re-activate itself. I notice it seems to do this if I leave the motorway or join the motorway. Is this by design or is there anything I can do to make sure it doesn't come back on by itself during trips? |

Congratulations on your new car.
I have had my car for 2 days now and it has that too. It comes back on after the car has been off. I have not driven on the highway yet. It is required by law in my country (Belgium) for new cars from July 2024. I think it is required throughout Europe. Fortunately you can turn it off with the set button and you do not have to search in the menu, but it is annoying. |
