Anyway to turn off the shift assistance permanently
Most manafacturers that have this option, it remembers the last chosen setting. Anyway to code this?

Or perhaps the shift assistance feature was enabled and made "sticky" when the car was set up by a genius. When I bought my M2 as I was finishing with the purchase the genius asked me what settings I wanted and I asked her what were available. She said auto stop/start. I asked she disable that. The next setting she asked about was the shift assistance feature and not being familiar with that I asked her what did other M2 owners elect to do and she said most chose to have it enabled/made sticky. So that's what I had her do. And I never changed it. So the auto stop/start was disabled and shift assistance was enabled whenever I got in the car and regardless of which key I used. |
