BMW Spotify prevent full screen? (ID8)

Opening BMW Spotify I see the first image and I can choose an artist/song, etc.
Then after 10 seconds, the app auto-switches to full screen showing just the artist/song/time elapsed, art, etc.
How can I prevent the app from automatically switching to the "now playing?" screen?
I can't find a setting in the car, mobile app or desktop.

It's in the Spotify settings after you open Spotify.

In the mobile app? Do you mind showing me the name of the setting and how to get there?
I've looked everywhere and cannot find it.

There is an options button near the buttons for Media and Map in your car. When you're in the Spotify app in you iDrive hit options button.

Thanks, I'll give it a look

EDIT: That's not it, no settings when pressing "option" button

That looks like Media fullscreen to me...

Press Media Button on center console until you get to this pop-up > select Media/Radio settings...

In Media/Radio settings > deselect Media fullscreen...

Spotify will remain on your Home/Library/Search screen until you change it...

Thanks for that. I've never noticed that settings area before. I'll report back after making the change.

EDIT: This appears to be the solution, thanks again.
