M2 Grille question from a newbee

I am new to this forum and better yet, all forums, so please be patient with me. I just bought a '25 M2 G87 and am very interested in putting the Zunsport grille protection on the front end. I am concerned with whether or not it is truly needed. My dealerships will only indicate that if I have any issues it could void the warranty and they do not recommend putting any aftermarket parts on the vehicle. That opening is so large and the cooler/radiators are so exposed, I do not see how they escape damage. I would love to hear from anyone who has done it or not. If using it has caused any issues or if not using it has allowed for excessive damage to the radiators.
Thank you and look forward to any feedback.

1. They won't cause any issues, nor void your warranty.
2. Find a new dealer. My service department loves the grilles (said they were a great idea), my intakes, exhaust, etc. The service manager always asks me what I'm going to add next.

The grilles do not void warranty unless you install it wrong and break something (highly unlikely) . Find a new dealer if this dealer won't work with you for aftermarket grilles.

Thank you. Do you have any experience with using these and do you think is necessary to have some sort of protection?

Do they make a mesh for those with ACC? I saw a video of someone cutting the RGS grill mesh, but I'll probably mess that up, lol.

The grille doesn't have any impact on the ACC. I've had mine on for almost 20k mi.

Wait a minute! Didn't you say your ACC was braking suddenly? Maybe this is the culprit? Can you duplicate the braking with the grill off?

The ACC behaved the same way before I installed the grilles. I've used the ACC with & without - no difference.

It also helps to protect the sensor, imo. I drive 500 mi/week on I-35 between Dallas & Austin, TX which is pretty much a wasteland of road debris & large trucks kicking things up.

OP - just to show how necessary these protective screens are, here are 2 pictures from today showing just how much stuff gets by them. I believe the ZunSport have the smallest openings as well. I'd be interested to see pics from people who have the Stradale grilles installed that have larger openings.

The thing I do not like about the Stradale is how much work it is to actually install it. to much disassembly required.
