G50 3 Series Sedan / G51 Touring

• In production 11/26-10/34
• Intro models: worldwide 318, 320, M350 xDrive; US 330, 330 xDrive, M350 xDrive.
• 03/27: adds worldwide 320 xDrive.
• 07/27: adds worldwide 330e.
• 11/27: adds worldwide 330.
• The above lineup and schedule are preliminary and may be incomplete (e.g. the fate of diesels is currently unknown)
• G84 M3 sedan possible within that timeframe.

Amount of detail that went into the rendering is impressive. Not sure about quad pipes on the 330 (and the removal of the "i" was missed). I'd need to see the interior, but the exterior is rather bland looking (like the new 5 Series). I do like the grill and light treatment, though not so much on the rear taillights/bar.

Looks are subjective, many times these cars looks better IRL, and at the end of the day we get used to appreciate most of their designs (okay, I still hate the M3, M4 and M5 front ends lol).

However, I am curious about the M350 -- what engine will be driving this?

Honestly, if the headlights / grilles and taillights were swapped out for a better more traditional design… it would look like a fine successor.

But, it’s BMW and the design team can’t design a beautiful car to save their lives anymore so 😭

Not bad, I do think it would look a bit more 'BMW' if they put a smaller kidney grille in the center, ala the E30 oo=00=oo style but that could also potentially make it look a little too retro. In any case, I don't hate this render.

Oh boy, from on extreme to the other. Looks like an old SAAB, but ugly. Very weak design and does not look like a prototype they displayed. Some elements of it, but as usual looks disjointed and not proportioned. Entire BMW design team needs to get fired!

If the real one will look anywhere close to this it should sell fine. BMW did much worse over the recent years. I wonder how will BMW explain deviation from those atrocious grills in some recent cars that buyers clearly did not understand and somehow could not see their undeniable beauty…

I like the rear but I also saw Camaro in the front end. To me, the silhouette of the 7 series reminds me of a Challenger a little bit.

I’m really trying hard to decide what it looks like…it doesn’t look like a BMW from the front 3/4 view but does from the rear 3/4 view.

Looking forward to seeing the real version.
