Its about time they start making those. Hopefully they can make it smaller though, like what apple did with the ipod.

That looks convenient, and practical! I bet it would be a lot of fun, but you'll pay some ungodly price for it and end up useing it a half dozen times.

I can't wait to be crashed into by some inattentive fat bitch with 3 jetpacks strapped to her while she's talking on the phone.

Is that electric? Sounds too quiet and tame to be gasoline powered....

And it's a little too big. Looks like the Jetpack industry still has some work to do. And that indoor demonstration doesn't do anything for me. I want to see him flying over buildings with that thing. THEN I would be sold.

Don't forget the 10k deposit:

Payment: either include a check for US$10,000 with the Deposit Agreement, or wire the funds to the Martin Jetpack USA trust account.

i doubt it, when u hover like that u need jet propulsion technology, unless there are propellers like helicopters, but i don't see those...

They're there ... check out their site - carbon fiber blades, I think. Plus, it has a built-in chute if the engine were to cut out.

I want to see some sort of automatic landing system ... looks like things could get ugly in a hurry when you're near the ground.

Max ceiling is 8000 ft. Read the technical info from their site. They developed their own 2.0 liter V4 engine which produces 180lbft from 3500-6000 rpm. Dayum. Honda eat your heart out.
