Yeah it's hard to tell but it most closely resembles a Z06. The guy was doing about 140kph(86mph), so the Corvette was probably at about 260(160mph). Very fast, but not exceptional considering some people drive their supercars at 300+ on the Autobahn.

That is why in German they do not give a DL to just anyone who walks through the door. A potential driver has to show they understand what it is like to drive at speeds like that.

In the US you're guaranty someone would pull into that fast lane without signaling..

Was that on a de-restricted autobahn? Looked like a pretty small road for that.

Guy was doing 93 mph (150 kph). In my estimation, the Vette (either a Z06 or ZR1; can't tell) was doing at least 180 mph. It seemed like the little car was stopped; definitely not a 60+ mph difference IMO. You got to be crazy to pass cars that fast. Yes, German folks drive much better than us, but you see autobhan accidents all the time, and they're not pretty at those crazy speeds.

Look again. The guy ends up at 150 only after the Corvette goes by and he accelerates to pass the wagon. When the 'Vette went by he was probably only at 140 or even 130. So when you account for speedometer error, he was most likely going 75-80mph. Have you ever had to stop on the side of a highway? That's about how the cars look when they go by at 75mph. So 75+75= about 150.

not saying theres never autobhan accidents, but they know not to go into the left lane unless you mean business.
