Which Vegas hotel?
So, I have 3 free nights from hotels.com with a limit of $400 per night. I decided I'm gonna use 'em for my lil sister's 21st bday trip to Vegas. Anyways, while we obviously won't be spending all the time in the room, I'd like to utilize the $400/night max and get a cool room for all of us to stay in. Any suggestions?

I'm very interested in the responses too! I just booked my wife and I at the Encore @ Wynn for our 1 year anniversary...staying at their Resort suite. From the pics, the hotel looks amazing!
I checked on trip advisor what ppl said about their stay. Most of them loved this hotel. However there were quite a number of responses that said that the service was not 5 star caliber. Would be nice to hear what u guys think of Encore? |

I don't know which one is best but IMO these are all good: Bellagio, Encore, Mandalay (and the one next to it), Venetian, Planet Hollywood...there are more good ones but it really depends on what you're looking for. For example The Trump is a nice hotel but it doesn't have a casino. It's a hotel where you go to really relax after a long night out. Monte Carlo is a good hotel too. The Hard Rock is where many hot chicks sun bathe and it is, IMO, more of a party place than some other ones.
PS- remember that expensive hotels= expensive everything. Don't expect Stratosphere's buffet price at the Wynn. |

Got some great responses here, thanks everyone! I looked into the Venetian, and found some 1400 sqft suite for right around 400 a night if I book before Jan 31. Gonna keep looking, but so far, this one looks like a winner.

Aria, at city center sucks.
How many people are going into a room? Best for a lot of people is ventian or palazzo. Wynn/Encore is aslo very nice, but the rooms are smaller. Bellagio is nice, and in the center of the strip if you guys r going to be walking around a lot fk |

Now, now. The Circus Jerkus is a DUMP and needs to be imploded ASAP. Hell, its needed to be scrapped for over a decade but somehow manages to avoid the wrecking ball. The Imperial Palace is another DUMP. There are plenty of others that qualify as dumps. There is no way the Bellagio is in the same league as the Circus Jerkus or Imperial Palace. I haven't been in it for a long time, but it can't be THAT bad, can it?

i've actually stayed at IP once for one night on a last second new years trip. it is a dump, but the rooms are enormous. speaking of vegas, i probably get 2 promotion offers a week from different vegas and gulf coast hotel casinos. i should capitalize. |

First off that room is AMAZING. I got that room for my 21st birthday and it is huge. 3 plasmas. Secondly, Venetian is in the middle of the strip and I have been to Vegas more than 10 times and stayed everywhere and I consider location to be one of the more important things. You dont really want to be in a cab the whole time and if u are at Encore (Awesome hotel, shitty location) and u want to go clubbing at The Bank at Bellagio, u will have to cab it. From Venetian u can walk. I think u see what I am getting at. Thirdly and lastly, the customer service at Venetian is pretty amazing. I was the registered room owner but my friends arrived before me, the check in people let them have the room even before it was paid for. They let me have something like 7 to 8 keys without asking questions. And on the last day, they extended my checkout time by like 2 or 3 hrs for free cause all of us were too fucked up to move. And all of this was New Year's Eve Weekend, so u can imagine, how packed the hotel was and they still managed to pull through on awesome service and all round experience |
