Any 3D gamers?
I just bought my first 3D HDTV, and I gotta say, I absolutely love it. I just finished watching Tron as my first 3D movie on my new tv, and playing as many 3D games as I can.
Anyone else use it regularly? |

I want one but was really underwhelmed by the depth when i checked it out, i feel that it will be a gimmick that i will soon forget about and not use regularly. Filed it away in my "Want but not really a priority" cabinet.

Tried Gran Turismo 3D when I had my PS3, was very disappointed. Ended up selling all my PS3 stuff off. I need to hook up my PC and try it out. I think it offers much more adjustability if I am not wrong...
I have the Samsung UN55C8000 and they still have more tweaking to do as I still have a bit of ghosting on some movies but then again, those are the ones I have watched on HBO 3D on-demand. |

Nope, not yet. Anyone know what 360 games are capable? I know black ops is, but don't got that.

There are some out there, but they are few. Here is a link that has some good info in it: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/g...8/t/16379.aspx Also, I noticed yesterday that the PS3 3D is different than 360 3D. I have to change the settings on my tv to get it to work. Whereas the PS3 everything was as originally programmed by the tv. After playing Black Ops on both the PS3 and 360 in 3D, I like PS3's quality better. |

I believe it is because they use different technology. The PS3 uses blu ray and can show the images similar to how we see movies in 3d on a blu ray player in the full 1080p. On the other hand, the xbox plays 3d by splitting up the image into two seperate right and left, and the quality is degraded. It is hard to explain, but I believe the xbox displays 3d similar to the old 3d tech where you had to wear a red and blue glasses. Of course, some PS3 games display this as well. I know on my 3d tv i have different 3d settings to choose from.

I have the sony 55" 3d tv and love it with my ps3. Black ops took a while to get used to. I found GT5 easier in 3d. Crysis 2 was good as well.
