Looking for a good place for powdercoating wheels near Chicago
I'm looking to powdercoat my 261's and need a reputable shop near Chicago/NW Indiana, cost is not an issue if the work is done right.
Thanks!

I had a shop in Montgomery, IL do mine. Only $300 and they always do a great job (used them in the past for other things as well). Might be a bit far for you though.

Black....Carbon Grey......Graphite Grey....... something in that range, leaning towards not quite black but haven't pulled any paint chips yet.

WAY old thread revival but, did you use that company? Did they do a good job? I am thinking of getting my 264's powder-coated and need a good recommendation.

Let us know what they quote...I have a reference from another member and will call them this week. I'm looking to coat my winter wheels in addition to my 264's.

Ok...I spoke to Greg at GT motoring in Crystal lake. The cost is about $385-$400 for matte black or gloss black...depends on the condition of the wheels and I assume other colors are similar in cost. Unfortunately no group buy discount is available and lead-time is one week. Sounds like they have one 3rd party shop handling the coating. Contact Greg @:
