I'm really surprised at how many people are so "shocked" by this video. You seriously think these guys are doing live mixes for every show they do? You really think SHM needs to have three people up on the decks all mixing together?? These guys have

Not only that, Angello is a prick. He is so full of himself and thinks hes a legitimate rockstar. I've seen all of them, more than I care to admit, and at EVERY gig, Steve says the exact same shit. "HI MY NAME IS STEVE ANGELOOOOOO, WE ARE THE SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA. THIS IS AXWELL AND THIS IS SEBASTIAN INGROSSO ARE YOU F***CKERS READY??? thats it, he repeats it word for word, EVERY SHOW.

I can't stand him anymore. He's a fantastic producer and certainly talented. However, he needs to take the stick out of his ass and start giving back to the fans who pay top dollar to see him.

But yeah, dude is lazy. Most of his shit seems pre-cut and/or cue points pre-set, so he just goes and mixes the last/first 15-30 seconds. This is lame though. At least try to work for your giant fucking paycheck by wearing goddamn cans when you dj.

i think even my 1000's can sync (or auto-start)... never used this feature though.

i think even my 1000's can sync (or auto-start)... never used this feature though.

you can have cdjs connected to eachother (since the original 1000's) so when one song ends on one, the next song starts on the other. You can also have it pick up the first beat of the song (which does not always work) so your cue point is ready for each new song you pull up. They can not 'auto sync' beats for you (auto beatmatch). even with rekordbox, you still cant auto beatmatch. Pioneer is highly against that shit, which is why they work closely with serato, and not traktor.

I know Randy Boyer, and Darude both personally, Darude uses traktor, but he's proven himself as a DJ, he also still does song selection and is doin his thing behind the decks.Randy uses serato, which takes skill as well. Both of them have been making fun of SA on FB.

granted he speaks a lot though out a set, but its fucking steve angello from SHM, who gives a fuck what he says. I love him and the way he mixes.

I have seen him many times but at Avalon and Wet Republic, I was very close to the stage and he didnt have time to look up as much, cause he was working and mixing.

And I was thinking about this the other day, some of these popular Dj's do back to back shows, and some every other day. And you have to take into consideration how much cocaine and alch they drink and snort. Who knows what else they take and how they jump up and down and play music. And im sure they party hard after their gig. So these fuckers are tired
