favorite (starter) drink right now is Vodka, Sprite, Grenadine, and Simply Lemonade (or Limeade). You gotta use DECENT vodka. something at least 5x. Minsk, Vox, etc. It can get too sweet if you overdo the proportions. I tend to drink a couple of them and then just start drinking the vodka straight out of the bottle.

Drinking your cran-bull-vodka-berry-upside-down-suprise-fuckwhateverelse is gonna give you less for your money and make you look like a pussy. Ordering a decent scotch neat might cost you twice as much as lemon flip fuck or whatever, but you'll get drunker and won't have fairies chasing you for free drinks. Unless you're into that sort of thing, of course

I can't have gluten so a lot of drinks are out for me. As a result, I mostly stick with Scotch, Potato Vodkas, Gin, or Bourbon for my alcohol.

Lately, I've been on a really big Manhatten kick, don't know why...just am. On a scale of 1 to 10 on the drunk-o-meter, they're up at least around an 8 or 9 as all the ingredients are alcohol. (2 parts rye or bourbon, one part, at most, sweeth vermouth...dash of bitters.)

I just got hipped out to Hudson Valley Baby Bourbon which is made in New York from 100% corn; most bourbons are made with at least 51% corn. The high corn content makes it a bit sweeter which balances out the bite from only being aged for 4 years (hence the "baby" designation). The stuff isn't cheap, but MAN is it GOOD!!!
