Middle of Winter BMW S1000RR Ride

So far the only thing I've found beneficial in Texas is the opportunity to ride my S1000RR in middle of winter and have it be 70+ degrees F outside. Although I still hate the fact that Texas is also one of the scariest places to be on a bike.

It also shot some sound/video clips of my bike's exhaust system. I've been running the Brock's Performance CT Single Full Titanium Exhaust System on my bike since June but never captured any videos of the system. I loved the system...not too loud and extremely lightweight. One of the only systems that actually uses a lot of r&d to develop more power. Piping diameters are significantly greater than stock. I'm also running a Power Commander V with a system specific map developed by Brock's Performance.

Why is Texas "one of the scariest places to be on a bike"?

Scary from the other drivers on the road...kinda scary even if I'm rolling in the F-150 let alone a bike. You kind of have to experience it for yourself.

Looks good! What mods do you have done on yours? Do you track the S1K?

Nice! I thought you had an Ohlins suspension setup on there...bet that wasn't cheap.

Happy riding!

It wasn't that bad, I got it through TJ at Rider's discount. You know he cuts deals like crazy. If you get a chance, def at least change the cartridges out. Feels like a whole new bike. Happy riding to you too.

PS. I remember seeing your crash vid over on the S1K forum. Crazy vid

Riding in Houston can be scary....just treat everyone around you like they are idiots trying to kill you and you will survive.

Nice bike by the way....my wife's competition below.

Who's is who's? Both nice bikes...I've always wondered how the Diavel rides. Only Ducati's I've riden are 1098S and Streetfighter.

Nope. Baseline should be 16000 and next up should be around 22,000 out the door.

Both are mine....when I say competition, I am referring to time with my wife vs riding.

The Diavel is fun....handles much better than one would think.

Ride safe....

17ish for base model with crap suspension. S model is 22+ with proper Ohlins get up and 27+ for that fancy shmancy paint job.

With that said...Pending on the release results, this is the Duc that i will end up getting. I been waiting for a LOOOOOONG time for Ducati to dump that hideous undertail set up and my time has come.
