That means about 0-60 in about 4.2 to 4.3 seconds.

In this car 457 hp
AMG obviously detuned the engine for the small C-Series so it's not faster stock than the E63 and CLS63 cars. But I bet it runs right with them.
What's more, it's the same engine as the 507 hp versions of other AMG cars, it's most likely an ECU tune away from matching that (maybe slight intake or exhaust changes too).

I believe the 2006 C55 was around $55K to start.
If this C63 is in the $60K ballpark, the M3 will surely have a major challenge on it's hands.
I'm sure the M3 will still outhandle the C63, but it probably won't outrun one in the sprinting department.

Yeah some great points made there. I'm sure if changes were made it would easily reach 500bhp and gain some more torque too. If this car had a manual transmission it would be so much better. That said, this car is still a beast even with 457bhp !

IMHO i would prefer the luxury cruise feel of the auto.. not like the power isnt there.... this would be the sickest daily driver period

i was about to buy a C55 but then read about it and its electronic braking system had something which would automatically brake in hard turns etc and there was no way of disabling it. AMG's are heavy pigs but also have that high pulling power. I cant wait to test drive one....

sick luxury car, but I'd still go for a 335i with vinshu tuning or a M3.

I was surprised to hear the MB was also working on an Audi/VW like DSG too.
That would be sweet in this car.

One of the first things I thought of when I saw the front end of the C63 was, "holy Clearbra installation nightmare".
