punta cana?

So fellow party people im planing a trip to punta cana in may, just me and a few of my friends, we are staying at the rui palace.

whats good to go see/do partywise out there?? we dont want to stray to far off the resorts.

Any tips advice weclome.

I stayed at Riu Negril in Jamaica. I was underwhelmed by it, and it was my first resort trip. I hope Punta Cana's Riu is better.

Haven't stayed at the RIU in punta cana, do ask the bartenders at your hotel for "Mamajuana" the local drink (supposed to be like Viagra)

montego bay jamaica rui : was nice
but not for punta cana. i hope u can get ur money back....
my gf and i stayed at punta cana majestic elegance 10x better then rui .

I really couldn't stand Punta Cana...

I went last August for a wedding. 98F, 95+ humidify, UV index was a 8-9 every day we were there. Re: Absolutly Miserable.

Pool water was 80deg and they had just had a tropical storm so the beaches/shoreline were covered in seaweed.

ACs in our rooms couldn't keep up. The outside of the room door and outside (hallway walls) were litterally dripping with water because of the temperature difference inside/outside the guest rooms. We had clothes we hung up to dry the first day in our room that were still wet 7 days later when we left. After 3 washings we had to throw the majority of what we took on the trip away because we couldn't get the mildew smell out.

Also of the 30+ people who went at least 10 of us got the trots while we were there despite only drinking bottled water/staying away from raw vegetables.

Oh and prepare yourself for the largest concentration of rednecks outside of southern Florida. I saw more Harley Davidson shirts in PC than I do when I'm in Milwaukee.

The ONLY redeeming thing was the cigar factory tour.. That was awesome.

Could have just been bad luck/bad timing, etc... But I don't think I'll ever go back.

Damm some of you had bad experiences..

i hope the rui palace is a better choice its the top riu resort in p.c., also im just going to party, im not to picky and the group im going with isnt ither. we just want to have a good time and meet females...

i deff. will try that drink seeing that we have all-inclusive..

any tips on sports to check for night life??
