Need Advice/Guidance: 5-7 Week Car Rental
Hey fellas, I sold my M3 and Tahoe in anticipation of my M5 being delivered, but all of that happened quicker than expected and now I'm without a car for 5-7 weeks. I have looked at Avis, Enterprise, Hertz and the like and am finding an intermediate for ~$800/month. I would prefer to not spend that kind of money to drive a Ford Fusion and am looking for alternatives.
Any thoughts on how to find a car to drive for 5-7 weeks? Are there any services that offer these types of things or is there a match service, like SwapALease for shorter-term rentals? Thanks in advance!!

does your dealership give out loaner cars? Maybe you could strike a deal with them

Thanks for all the help guys, I went by my local Enterprise Rent A Car and the Manager gave me a deal for $600/month for a mid-size.
Then yesterday afternoon, my brother called and said I can drive his Porsche 911S as he had just bought an FJ Cruiser to take his daughters back and forth to school! So instead of driving a Ford Fusion, I will driving a P-car for the next month and a half!

Congrats on that. But if you somehow got stuck having to decide to rent a Ford Fusion for a month, I would have bought myself a cheap Honda Civic. They go for under 5k these days and get good gas mileage.

a friend of mine has been renting cars from enterprise for over a year now.
he says it comes to about $350-400/mo, so pretty much the same as a car payment

I miss it like crazy, but I'm hoping the M5 will make it all better!

usually when you buy cars like an M5, you can ask the dealership to give you a car during the wait period
Most dealerships will do it. Only shitty ones won't.
