Guess I don't completely understand the article. Is that meant to be the 2015 engine in a 2013 body? Because the exterior looks just like a 2013 Stang.

Same motor (5.0 Coyote). The body is the 2013 skin on the 2015 chassis. They do this to road test the new drive train without revealing the new body design.
