Do you guys/gals listen to music at work or at home?
Here's a link to free streaming internet music website. Has all kinds of music anywhere from trance/house to hiphop, to jazz, elevator music, metal to old school, 60's, 70's, 80's, etc, even country... it's all there. The best part? It's FREE!

I got the best setup at work.
We have a G5 up at the front of the room hooked up to some studio speakers. Everyone just brings in their iPod and copies music onto the computer. With over 10k songs, we have plenty of variety.

Radio IO has many channels. My favorite is iojam:

The company I work for puts mp3 usage at the discretion of each department managers. Well, 2 weeks ago our dept. VP said "Since this is an open work environment (we don't have cubicals) that all use of mp3 or related devices is prohibited. Therefore you can continue to learn about market terms, problems and solutions by simply over hearing others conversing."
All I wanted was to listen to my morning radio show till 10 o'clock. Now I can't start off the day with that, so I don't get my laughs in. My company sucks sucks sucks! Too many b.s. rules, and women can get away with wearing whatever. Oops...sorry about that rant. I listen to music in the car mostly. At home I'll throw on some tunes in Winamp before I jump in the shower sometimes. Or when cleaning the house. |
