Need help from someone with a Samsung A900 "Blade" phone
So I'm an idiot and took my phone swimming yesterday.
I jumped in the pool, and maybe a minute later reached down, patted my side pocket and thought "oh f*ck". Yep, my cell phone was right where I put it since my hands were full with towels, drinks, etc. I immediately took it apart and layed it out under the chaise. When we got back to my place, I set it on the counter till this morning. Popped the battery in today and of course, it's ruined. It starts up, but I press the "1" and get the volume adjust screen, I press "2" and get "###99#9########9#" across the screen. None of the buttons work and the entire time the main screen says "out of service". I'm going to try and get to Sprint today and get it replaced, but I'm concerned about the water damage indicator. I know on most phones the sticker (about the size of a hole punch) is white and turns red/purple when wet. Well, my phone's black and so is the indicator. Does anyone have this phone? If so, can you check if the idicator dot is white to begin with? If you pop off the battery cover, the indicator is a small circle sticker above the battery. Thanks guys.
