So god-damn confused!! F30(328xi) or E84(x1)?
I spent last 3 days not working but researching about F30(328xi) & E84(X1) leasing.
My budget is within $440/month and the 3-series I want has payments over $500. I found a stripped-down 328xi with Navigation & good color, which works for me but it's very basic. So I jumped to X1 which meets most of my expectations but it's not a 3-series which i love the most. I get premium pkg, cold weather, & Technology pkg. What should I do? I am going to dealer to sign in few hours but very confused.

Go with the car that has all the options you want and need. If not you'll be on here asking if you can add aftermarket this and aftermarket that.
Leave the stripped down cars for loaner use. |

E84 is tiny. I feel cramped in it.
F30 would be my first choice... and i drive E83 myself.

Wow....a lot of differing views here.
The options on E84 didn't seem to add any much value. Also there is less Holiday credit($500 compared to $1000 for F30) and NO first month payment free. So I chose F30 with navigation only. I know, I know I just love the looks of F30 and ok with not having all options. I chose Mojave Metallic and Beige leathertte.

Since you are looking at a 328xi I assume you want AWD and I believe the standard x1 isnt AWD. Correct me if I am wrong.
Ok so I looked it up and if its a sDrive28i then its RWD and xDrive28i then it is AWD but both are badged as x1 so a 1,700USD difference for AWD

Don't go the F30 route.. first year production.. go figure. I would go with the X1. Better equipment and make sure you know what engines have the AWD and what engine has the RWD.

i was in the same situation,
there was a X1 in the dealership with alot of options, inclusing xenons and m-sport body kit, interior etc.. I went for a base f30 instead.. I think I would have regretted it whichever car I bought |
