Should I go from 2006 325i to 2011 328xi?
I currently own a 2006 325i sport pack with 74k and I still love it but I'm recently looking to trade-in my aging car.
I recently saw a 2011 cpo 328xi sport pack with 12K. I know it's a very similar car but it has the xdrive and it also has slightly more power + its lci which I think looks better then my pre-lci. Or I can find a slightly older 09-10 335 with sport. My dilemma is go for newer car with longer warranty but remain similar to my current car or go for the older car with not much warranty left but with lot more power. But with the n54 comes with more problems compared to n52. All has to remain in the same price range of course. So hard to decide and unsure. Let me know what you think. |

Depends if you were satisfied with the previous power. If you felt you could have gone a lil quicker, the 328 would be just fine. But if you want the vrooom, Go for the 335! That car is amazing. The 2011 328 is nice too but if u want something that feels different, u will enjoy the 335.

My sales rep is trying to convince me to get the 2012 320i with premium and lighting package and also heated steering instead for about the same price.
The 2011 328xi with sport pack I saw is great with only 19k km with full warranty until dec 2016 but it will feel like my current car. The 2012 320i does have less hp on paper but will perform similarly compared with my 325i. |
