So, it looks like I'll just stick with my current situation unless things change between now and October 8th when my 320i xDrive MSport enters production. |

Jason
Any idea if the MFID is coming to the 6 or 7 2013 models in March, or this is more likely a 2014 change. Also, what is the distinction between the "new" iDrive ConnectedDrive system referenced in the original post (not Nav Professional, I understand that) vs current iDrive I have in my 2011 740 (and I understand the iDrive Touch is something different again...) Thanks |

Hello Jason, Wondering if you have heard any news confirming the rollout schedule. I am working with a FL dealer on a 650 coupe order and asked about the new Idrive. He advised today checking into it, and wrote me that newly ordered 6 series will have the updated Idrive. This would be different than the rollout listed as Nov '13 for the 6 series. Thanks. |

New Nav system on F30 November builds?
Has there been any news on the rollout of the latest Nav system in the F30? The OP said that the F30 would get the new Nav starting with November builds. Is that still accurate?

Any update on the roll out for this? I assume it's massively behind schedule?

So will we be able to update our existing software to take advantage of the new software even though we have the older hardware in the a 2013 X3 F25?

You can update your PSdZData so you can keep coding your car if the Dealer updates it. I'm not exactly sure what you mean though by take advantage of new software.

I have a new F30 that was built the last week in April 2013. Is there anything in the car I can look for to see if it has the above new specs (i.e. 200 GB Hard drive, 8GB Flash, etc.)? Not sure if their was a Menu Option that would pull up the specs.
Thanks! |

I assume it's safe to say if it doesn't have those indicators you pointed out then your system is utilizing the old hardware specs. |
