Please help me with my karting lap

Please excuse me if I am in the wrong place to discuss this but, my lap time is very slow.
I have posted a short clip here of the 100 cc 2 cycle kart here. Mostly I feel like I am losing lots revs and time in corner complex. Please advise how may I keep the rev up, or is there just no way until I loose weight (@ 95 kg ) Thanks in advance. Feel free to comment on everything, I have been trying to keep the kart tidy and no under of oversteer.

If you hop the kart before a turn and counter-steer through the turn, the drifting builds up some boost that'll speed you up after you come out of the corner. Watch out for those shells.

Hi kyleb350. I am afraid I am not familiar with the term "hop the kart." Does it mean having the inside wheel lifted?

Thanks I am just beginning to realize how much the weight of the driver (and shifting it around) influences the performance of a kart. I have been incorrectly leaning inside like those in Superbikes, but instead I should transfer the weight to the outside wheel. I must have over did it on first try because people thought I've gone mad in the kart trying to jump out of it or yoyo'ing left to right.... I am confident the lap time should improve next time around

I'll keep trying, thanks a bunch.

I do not play computer games, but my nephew says I am more like Browser
