E39 M5 + CS = wow
hopefully not a repost but this car is absolutely beautiful. A match between one of BMWs greatest designs with one of their greatest chassis.

No, the car above is an E39 with an E21 body stuck on top. I was saying that a lighter, stiffer and newer E9x M3 with the same E21 body glued on top would be even better.

Oh, gotcha. The body is an E9, not an E21, unless I am totally missing something, so I was a little confused about what you were trying to say.

I still think this is great, it would be fun to own this car and the 850CSI/Volga: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/volga-v-12-coupe Throw in a Singer 911 while we're at it. |

Fuuuuuuuuc..... That looks so good it hurts to soke it all in. The E9 just oozes style and on a modern chassis and power train it takes the whole package to the next level. Awesome project!!

I NEVER thought I would say this, but..
Those tires could really use a minor stretch (to the BMW God, my BMW enthusiast father and the holy E30 M3, please forgive me for I have sinned) |
