Mercedes on Aston Martin

Do you guys think it might be truth? There are a lot of rumours around Mercedes buying Aston Martin.

I've heard of them potentially working together on platforms but nothing about an acquisition. It's not uncommon for companies to do this. Toyota and Subaru teamed up on the BRZ/FRS and BMW is also teaming with Toyota on another project.
