Where here? I could do with a little European company!
Oh, I'm a Finn, stuck in Seattle.

You are so wrong it hurts. It's been like +35 for the last two weeks, and I can honestly say this is killing me.
They said it always rains here, that's why I agreed to move here.

I think it's a lie that it always rains there. I go there quite a bit for business and still need to see this whole "it always rains here" phenomenon. I do have to say, Seattle has the best food of any city I've been to in the US. One of my favorite city's in the US, period, actually.

I was in the UK this past March and drove a 'hired' car with a manual. Shifting left-handed was less difficult than I expected, and I adapted quickly. Two other things I hadn't considered threw me off about driving a right hand drive car though. First, I found myself looking up to the right expecting the rear view mirror and finding the A pillar instead. Second, lane positioning felt odd since I'm used to lane markers being closer to my left side when driving.

I work at the bottom of Queen Anne hill in Freemont. Let's hook-up for a Starbucks soon. I'm off to hike Kilimanjaro tomorrow and will be back in a few weeks. I'll shoot you a pm when I get back. |
