My car got hit at the dealer today but guess by what??!!
I took my 2001 boxster in the shop for an oil change this car only has 10k on it and it is the love of my life more than my BMW!
well some f*ck was on a mountain bike doing tricks in the next parking lot and ended up on the dealers and was going really fast and was about to take a jump and sure enough hit the boxster and landed on the hood as the SA was driving it!!!! yes they are going to pay for it but who the hell does that and runs!!! they helped him up and then he got his bike and ran. if this was my BMW but this car was my moms and gave it to me before she passed away from ALS!!! this car has never seen rain, snow or a non sunny day! this is just messed up |

That happened to me years ago, a kid ran into the Porsche I was driving (was not mine, it was a buddy's in grad school). He crashed into it, damaged the rear 1/4, and gave the police false ID. Turns out he was under 18 so it didn't matter, my buddy's insurance had to pay for the repair. Then, about 5 years later the guy sues me for 7 figures. I don't know what he got but it was probably 6 figures because it was settled once again by insurance.

No, the kid's parents. They sued me because my name was in the accident report. My buddy's insurance carrier (or their dirtbag attorneys) took a deposition from me, on the record. It's a good thing that I knew they were not on my side (in such a case they try to dispose of any liability), so I stated the facts. Porsche, standing still. Kid, not looking where he's going. You, dirtbag attorneys. Me, no pay anything.

The kid did break his wrist, but again, he wasn't looking where he was going, and my vehicle was completely stationary. Still, it's a free country and anybody can sue anyone. When you can hire an attorney who will work for free and take 1/3 of the proceeds, we have a system like we do.
When I added the 335 to my policy last year, the girl on the phone tried to sell me a rider taking my liability up to 1 mil. An umbrella I think they called it. She said unfortunately, when you have a nice car like a BMW, you "may" be more likely to get sued because people will assume you have substantial assets. I guess they didn't know that we're in high school and lease our cars. Let's have a high school lessee booyah! |

i just hate the scumbags who don't work and just try to feed off the money or wealth of others like parasites. even more hate the cowards who can't take up any responsibility for own actions.

Shit, my brand new M3 was parked on the side of the road couple years ago, and some little kid tried to hop a curb and didn't make it...bike's handlebar fell over and crashed into my rear bumper...left a huge scratch...i saw it happen to, he was so young, what am i to do? i asked where his parents are, but he didn't answer and just cried, so i just let him go...

Tip of the hat to your mom (RIP). You are lucky to have had her and the car.

I would have flattened him, then drove carefully so the back wheels of my car were on his face, then practiced my wheel-spinning technique.
