S65V8 engine was under the hood and so no turbos ,they had a big hole in engine block,so personal I think it was bearing failure,like many of us !

No this is not the ///M4 DTM , The 24-Hours of Zolder is an endurance race and so i'm thinking this engine is specific built for endurance and so to run 24 hours non-stop but as base also our S65V8 engine .
The P-66 is the DTM engine and also specific built for this races and also based on our S65V8 .
Some specs of the DTM P-66...
4000 cc , V8 , 480 HP , 500NM Torque , 0-100 km/u in 3 secondes .
