Tony Stewart's case goes to Grand Jury

The sheriff finished his investigation, and turned the results over to the District Attorney. The DA has announced he will bring the evidence to a grand jury, who will decide whether to indict Stewart or not.

Not necessarily a bad sign for Stewart. The DA may just be looking to provide the public with reassurance that nothing was swept under the rug. Or he may be looking for an indictment. We should know the result in a few weeks.

Its not his fault the guy can out to him looking for a fight. He will never be charged with that crime. The guy was looking to get killed and consequently did.

Any competent DA knows this case would be a complete waste of time. That being said, it sounds like a perfect case for the government to try.

Maybe they are just doing it for the family of the dead.

IMO it is not his fault at all.
