Power recliner not working

My power recliner is no longer working. No wires are cut & everything is plugged in. I can hear the motor trying to do something.

I looked online & could not find anything that looks like my motor for sale.
I don't see any way to manually put the chair back down. Of course it breaks in the up position.

Am I SOL?

Rip the back off and see what is causing the issue. Most of the time the back fabric or leather piece is a single piece stapled into place. Worst case scenario you have to throw it away, best case you find a fix...

Maybe your grandkids dropped something down the inside that is now stuck in the gears?

No need to rip the chair apart. The motor is under the chair.
