i wonder if the chinese have something like that too! i totally LOVE it when people mix cultural music. one of my favorite Thrash Metal bands is brazilian. it's completely insane and beautiful how they mix hardcore metal with traditional brazilian instruments + capoeira..

maybe i should post that too... but hate to hijack the OP's thread

My sister got me hooked on this Japanese soap opera drama, "Long Vacation," and now I'm listening to J-pop. I'm not a big fan of pop, but like Boa's version of Lalala Love Song.

the video uses Canon in D as the base/foundation and then they beat box over it. The video was actually used for a commercial in korea. I forgot which product, but there's another version out there as well.
