4 gigs is a waste if you are running vista 32 bit since it can only see 3.4 gigs of that. If you running 64 bit it can see the full 4 gigs, issue is a lot of stuff doesnt work in 64 bit.. So in short stay with 3 gigs anymore is worthless.

What is the difference beween 32 and 64 bit? What doesn't run on 64? Also I think "Premium" is 32 and "Ultimate" is 64...is this correct? |

You should be fine with a 64 bit system, that way you can utilize all of your RAM. |

A lot of the programs that run on XP dont run correctly or at all on 64bit vista, but then again I find it more of a vista issue and a lot of programs are not in a rush to become compatible with vista.. I would buy a new PC with XP pro before vista. I still dont get why you just dont run boot camp on your mac? You would save a lot of money.. |
