it's all hosed up. I don't think there is a real "champion" this year - I think there are about 5 teams that could all beat each other on "any given Saturday."

That said, I see LSU valuting back up to #2. Them or Georgia. I can't see Hawaii there.

I woukd like to see LSU or GA play for national against who ever is #1

But LSU blew it last week because the coach were too ignorant to see that the last two games before arkansas, glen dorsey was not much of a factor (might even be a benefit to the opponent) because he is hurt and the coach should have not let him play. As a coach, you don't ask a player if they can play or not, ofcourse they will want to play (they don't know any better). He did nothing in the last 3 games he played. With Tennessee, he only played the first quater and they finally took him out. Their loss for bad coaching. That is why Les can go to michigan and give lsu back 1.25 millions

This is a hard wait to see what the poll and voters say Monday...

ohh, look at ap poll Go Tigers!

WOW!!!
In the end, I think it is a fair ranking -- SEC champ against OSU...

Crazy year...

I bet there's a few teams at the top licking their chops at the chance to be named National Champs just by being put into the BCS Title game against a team they know is overrated.

There it is on ESPN, 1. Ohio vs 2. LSU Jan 7th in the cressent city in the supper dome

Hopefully both side will have amble time for anyone injured to recover and play for the national title. May the best team win! What a year!

I figure it would be an SEC team. What is everyone take on this, I know there are folks who are very disappointed. Now is the time to speak up (well kinda too late and beyond our control).

Oh, and this should give LSU some time to find a replacement for pelini or the tigers better get themself a defensive game plan by Jan 7th or Ohio will eat them alive

It is what it is I guess. The opening line was LSU by 3. It has already gone to LSU by 6. Not because I am a Big 12 alum but I think Oklahoma got a bit of the shaft. The way they are playing I don't think anyone could beat them right now. Ohio State/ LSU will be a good game and great ratings I am sure.
Oklahoma is a 6.5 favorite over West Virginia. My school gets Joe Pa and the Lions. Hey, we will take it.
I would hope some serious discussions happen regarding the PAC and BIG 10 going to a playoff like the rest of them. LSU beating Tennessee is what got them to the title game. Playoff games can also crush young mens hearts. West Virginia.......

I agreed that OU is playing very good. It was an unfortunate event that in their loss, the quaterback got injured. But look at it this way, OU will have plenty of chances because their players still have many years left to play and already this year they proved they are a team to beat with so many talented young players (if not this year, then many years down the road).

How in the world did Kansas beat out Mizzu for a bowl game, when they lost head to head and had schedule ranking of like 120 vs. 40?

New Orlean is hosting 3 bowls? New Orlean bowl, Sugar bowl, and the Allstate National game...

They can certainly use that money from the taxes from tourists (or non NO locals).

Plus they still have Schlitz in Texas??? After a few of those, who cares what the crayfish taste like

I wish we still had crayfish around here, I used to catch them myself and have mom boil em up for me. The pot might click after boiling now. . .

Who doesn't like Schlitz? We still have Falstaff too.
J/K My dad used to drink those and Pabst. I saw the can and saved it.
O' the good ol' days....swiping a Schlitz and power chugging it in the back yard. Buuurrpppp.
Some say cray some say craw. My record for bugs (crawfish) is 16 lbs, no corn or potatoes. So that might be ? pounds of actual meat. They are like crack to me when season rolls in.
