Wow... for a second I really thought I was reading something from The Onion or some other fake news site:

Medical records also show that over the course of her eight-day stay, personnel at the hospital repeatedly tried to get Brock to deny three things before she could be released: that she owned the BMW, that she was a professional banker, and that President Barack Obama followed her on Twitter.

The lawsuit says it was these three assertions that were the basis for the city determining that Brock was delusional and to diagnose her with bipolar disorder.

If you search around for the story a bit, it turns out that at said traffic stop, her car was impounded because the cops thought she was high on marijuana. The real story is still unknown, but now it's not exactly "for unclear reasons."

I just looked at her LinkedIn, she's never worked for Citi, She did work as a PB (Branch Banker) From 2007-2008 for Chase. Her Profile picture is dark and fuzzy, and her company is listed as "Knowledge IS Power". Not screaming with Professionalism.

Clearly there is another side to this story. But then again it's the Huffington Post, I read an article this morning on HP about making everything in Waffle Irons.

Who knows, she could have been trying to talk big to get out of a ticket ( who mentions Obama follows them on twitter?) But it's quite clear something is off here.

In all fairness she was a Licensed Banker (means series 6 and 63, so she could open investment accounts under $25,000, but cannot give any advice on what to do with them) Which means she wasn't a teller, but 2 steps up from teller.

Honestly, it just sounds like she mouthed off pretty hardcore, and got taught a lesson.

Wonder how many attempts it took her to pass her series 6 (7). Don't you need at least a 70 to pass? And yeah the Obama part cracks me up. Who the hell mentions the president's name during a traffic stop? I'm starting to get a feeling that she thinks of her self as one of those entitled and superior mortals.

Looks like another case of "when keeping it real goes wrong".
Cop asked her a question. She decided to "keep it real" cause you know Obama follows her on twitter so she's above all us peons. In turn, NYPD kept it "realer" by throwing her crazy ass in a loony bin. And now here she goes playing the innocent victim and throwing up the race card.

They wouldn't sponsor a LB for a 7, only the 6 for Risk and Compliance purposes. You need a 70% for the 6 and a 72% if you take the 7 instead. The 7 is considerably more difficult. She probably got it on the first or 2nd try, but frankly it's not that much of an accomplishment.

I don't want to make assumptions here, but it sure does sound like this lady went off the deep end a bit.

The whole story is not true. i don't believe not a single bit. How can the police take you to the hospital because you are saying that you own a BMW. Crappy story. My guess is that she is so ill that all the story is made up by her.

Yeah I asked one of my cop friends about that too and he said that this is the fist her heard of something like that happening. Cops can only take you to jail, they would need a court order to get you thrown into the asylum.
