I would assuming it was financial easily feasible to do such a thing. There's nothing about buying a car like that or another similar that should play into reason based logic unless you don't have the money.
Same reason why a Cayman GT4 with a base of 86K will sell for likely 2X that. BTW, my dealer just got one in (spoken for) but my god was it gorgeous and mean. Don't see anything under the 200-300K mark that will be as exhilirating of a drive
