I do agree with this. I really like the new Colorado/Canyon with the diesel.

The Tacoma will almost assuredly have better resale, yes. But nobody knows by how much yet. That was my larger point. If the new GM Twins prove to be solid over the long haul, and they don't flood the market with them, values will hold.

No the previous generation Tacoma came with leather as well on the limited trim level as well. This year is the first year that a sunroof has ever been offered on the taco.

Apparently the diesel varation is in the pipeline for MY17 after the tundra releases its diesel model.

There is no diesel Taco or Tundra coming. Not sure where you got that info from.
