BMW Z4 GT3 Driven by DRIVE Magazine
Not exactly a new video, but to my knowledge, the English subtitles were recently added & I haven't seen this posted anywhere here.
As the Z4 GT3 and its naturally aspirated P65 engine bows out in favor of the new M6 GT3, this video provides an in-depth and first-hand experience of the driving the Z4 GT3 one last time. Some may recall a similar video of Matt Farah driving the similar Z4 GTD. The Z4 GTD is similar to the Z4 GT3 but with modified tire and aerodynamics for the GT Daytona class. The motor across all iterations of the Z4 race-cars is the S65-derived P65 V8 engine. A more thorough breakdown of the different Z4 FIA GT race-car variations and engine configurations are explained here. In the following video, Michael Georgiadis from DRIVE Magazine of Greece takes on the task of driving the Z4 GT3 at Circuito Monteblanco in Spain. The video takes the viewer on a journey from configuring the driver's optimal and safety mandated seating position, to unleashing the beast on the racing circuit. Quote:

Oh God, I would definitely take this over Megan Fox. Proper machine.
The acceleration must be insane and braking is surely an event. The transmission sounds so raw, the thing must be all engine.......it takes only three average sized european chaps using what looks like the same effort used to push a shopping cart to casually slide this beast backward into the garage, jeez. If you've ever pushed a normal car you know it isn't easy. Watched this like ten times.....how the hell BMW doesn't make a Z4M that's even 50% of this is mind boggling. Why don't they anyway..... Dat P65 tho!
Man, I read a comment in an article about the new M6 GT3 recently claiming that the M6 somehow makes a better race car. I couldn't disagree more. I absolutely love the Z4 GT3. The lines on the Z4 just look incredible on a race car. I just wish BMW had continued to make the Z4 coupe long enough to homologate one for racing. That's the one thing about the Z4 GT3 I'd change. Otherwise, quite a machine! It's in my top 5 all-time favorite BMW race cars.

How I wish BMW could've made an E89 Z4 GT3-lite for the street a la Z4 M coupe with an S65.

Such an amazing car and engine. Makes me sad that we probably won't ever see a N/A race engine from BMW.

The Fatt Marah video was annoying, so I'm glad there's this one as I'd not seen it either. Will be watching during lunch break!
I too had mad love for the Z4 but the fact is it was missing mucho straight line speed compared to other GT competitors, hence the move to the M6. However, it remains to be seen if that design is still too "bricky" against the new 488, 911, old Corvette, etc.
