So, being fast is not always the best measure
Liked for your F-4 reference. My favorite birds. USAF vet myself, worked on B-52's.

No that's called "broken."

I think he went a bit literal with his interpretation of "blow the tires off".

Hello,

fast for me is to ride on a normal german Autobahn during regular traffic on the third lane the BMW till end of speed at limited 257 kmh. Always keeping an eye on the mid lane to be sure that nobody change lanes with 120 kmh.

Some people think their Civic is fast. All depends on what you're used to & what you know about cars.

My Miata was slow as balls in a straight line, obviously, but my god that car was fun to drive & the best $1500 I ever spent.

My Z06 should be good for 10s & trap 130+ MPH. Some call it fast. I call it never enough.

My Speed6 should be good for 12s, but it's slow to me. Some call that fast.

There is definitely a lot of truth in the saying "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow." Of course, that implies you have a fun slow car, not something like a Kia Rio.
You have a speed6? Good man! I used to have a wwp with the panda interior. Sold it for the 135i

And just to contribute to the discussion speed is relative. I though my regular v6 mazda 6 was fast. Then when I got my speed6 the v6 was slow. Then I got the 135i and the speed was slow. And now I've modded my 135i and everything I encounter is slow. It's all perception lol.

Yup, it's my 2nd one. Bought the 1st new in 2007. Ditched it in 2010 for a new Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track (HUGE mistake. The GC was a POS), ditched the GC a few months later for a E90 335xi. Sold the 335 for my previous C6 Vette & then sold that & got back into a MS6 in 2013. Added the Z06 last year.

My MS6 should be good for high 12s (Bolt-ons, except for DP, running 18psi) & my 335xi went 12.9 @ 109 MPH w/Cobb AP OTS map & BMS DCI. Did you mod your MS6?

I discovered what "fast" meant a few months ago when I drove my lawnmower to the machine shop for a tune-up. The place is about 3/4 mi from my house and the roads are pretty quiet so I decided to drive instead of paying the $40 pickup fee. I have a Cub Cadet zero turn and it flies on my lawn. Sadly, I discovered immediately after leaving my driveway how "fast" my lawnmower really was. It was slow. Fast is a relative term.

Ha ha! We had a Honda Izy 21" petrol mower; self propelled but single speed. A very slow speed that was less than a walk.
Anyway our shed burnt down so I went a model up - variable speed, key start. And my word did full speed feel FAST - almost like a light jog. Of course now I want more. Can I supercharge my mower?

I did, but lightly. DP, axleback, fuel internals, accessport, springs, cobb sri and tip, and a short throw. Forgot the brand, think it was TWM? And the genni coupes really are pieces of shit. My cousin had a 2.0T track edition before the 1. Went through four engines on that piece of shit.
