Hi all,

A couple of articles on the recent test of the propulsion system of one of the contenders for Elon Musk's Hyperloop concept :

Interesting and inspiring. A huge number of challenges for this project ... some might say an insurmountable number ... but I find this quite inspiring.

It was on cbs news last night. LA to San Fransico in a half an hour.

Love the idea, though continually cutting costs to bring it down to a feasible production level raises some safety concerns for me. Regardless, that's pretty awesome.

In NIMBY / Environmentalist / don't screw up my view / super expensive real estate / oh yeah we have earthquakes here California?

I give it a 1% chance of every blowing anything but smoke down that tube....

Still very cool!!!
