Dam i guess Jones won, i truly didn't want this guy to win. I hate his attitude and how he acts in the ring, like an immature jerk.
Tito is a nice guy, truly a good person. if he retires now, he well always be remembered as one of the greatest champions. I hope Cotto in the future gets a fight with Jones, so he can knock the f--k out of him.

Anyone that thought Tito would win is really stretching it. To me, perfect opponent for Jones. Name recognition, out of the ring for 2.5 yrs, and limited power at 170.
I like tito, don't get me wrong, but his best work was done at 147 and 154. Huge difference. Tito should have gone after De La Hoya. And to the guy who mentioned Cotto, haha.. Same deal, too small. |

^^ totally agree and Jones isn't a jerk he just plays towards the crowd - showmanship...it's something he's always done and for a 15yr stretch was one of the most dominating fighters in history. Tito's a legend but don't take anything away from Roy because he likes to animate the crowd while frustrating opponents

Where talking about someone who in the 90,s was the best boxer in the wold and has won countless Championships, but his attitude make people not like him at all. There was a poll done 2 weeks back (i think in AOl) and 70% were gong for Tito. If Jones where a little more humble, things would be much different.

Yep, Jones is a showman.. Like Floyd ... (although he plays the villian better)Like Ali did.. Most fighters try to do it, it sells tickets. Some fail miserably..
Fact is, Tito and Jones are legendary fighters. They also have relatively clean lives outside the ring as well. I hope Tito doesn't retire again, he has more to give and some marque names he could have a good shot at beating.. He should cut the baby fat and go after the likes of Oscar, Floyd, Hatton, Mosley, Taylor, and that Pavelik kid, etc.. Coming back from a 2.5 yr layoff I would not have chosen a bigger, quicker, and slicker boxer in Jones. |

I agree Tito and Oscar would be a great fight, but small detail is Oscar owns Golden Boy and Tito is w Don King, but since they both live in Puerto Rico I am sure they will run into each other and discuss it, any way,not a bad pay day for Tito some say he stands to make 20 million after pay per view revenues are split!

I read somewhere that Oscar is not allowed to fight any more Puerto Ricans because his wife won't allowed it (shes from PR)?? Sounds lame. But Oscar vs Tito; winner fights Mayweather. A lot more interesting than him fighting Jones.. Jones needs to go fight Hopkins or Calzaghe..
