Are you serious? You should at least get in back in part.

Tell them to deduct delivery cost or PDI but you should have some of that money back if not all.

In fact, those "points" seems completely obvious.
The point is that VW's I4 could've been better for turbo than the Boxer 4 according to that review.

In otherwords Porsche probably botched this engine and could've done better. That's whats surprising.
Curious if the I4 would fit? It's of course taller but also longer. The boxer four is supposed to be about as long as the old H6 when you include the turbo setup, which is still a cylinder shorter than the I4.

968 3.0l 4's were nice and torquey for an NA motor, but weren't exactly rev happy.

That seems really unethical. I buy quite a few cars and have canceled a couple over that time. I have never had a dealer keep a deposit.

And CH is not the only person that says that about the 991.2. Now there are already multiple reviews saying there's lag on the 718. As I said in another thread, I usually take everything with a grain of salt, but I usually trust EVO.

I will definitely try to test drive them once the dust settles down and the dealerships have more of them in stock.
I wouldn't start lumping the 718 and 991.2 reviews together. The 991.2 has generally received very positive reviews. EVO giving it 5 stars says a lot.

The new 991.2 3.0 turbo just won International Engine of the Year in 2.5L - 3.0L category. It smoked the S55.

Agree here. And let's also not forget this EVO review was for a base 718, the 718S gets the VTG turbos and got 4.5 stars from EVO.
As I said earlier, the new 911 motor is one of if not the most technologically advanced turbo motors in production today. And also saw the international engine award. Mind you the 2.0 and 2.5 liter 4s also placed in the international engine awards, ahead of the bmw 4 by a long shot.

That's pretty harsh to compare any turbocharged car's lag to that of 944 turbo.

I heard prolingher said that the GT4 would keep its formula, so not too concerned it will be turned into FI, but it will be the one to get once it comes out.
