Angry "Ecotricity" to start charging for roadside charging in UK

I am taking possession of a Protonic Red i8 in September ... and have just read that Ecotricity is to start charging £5 for a 20 minute charge!! REALLY??

If any of our friends in the USA or continental Europe are reading this - how much do you pay for a motorway/roadside charge?

with thanks,

happy chap (who is not so happy!)
