So sad to see. One of my idols as a kid along with jack. Met him in 1988 I believe at a tournament, i was a caddie, and have a signed print in my office to this day.

One of those rare human beings that transcends their sport... While other golfers may have had superior skills or even won more tournaments, Arnold Palmer will always be remembered for being one of the classiest people you'd want to meet both on and off camera. A true American icon.
He will be missed.

Gosh, do you know what's the irony? I found out about his death last week... Only a day after teaching a few people at a dinner event how to make an Arnold Palmer drink since apparently they've never seen anybody mix iced tea with lemonade.

May he rest in peace though.

Well he was done playing competitively by the time most of us were born and I ain't no spring chicken but without your head in the sand don't know how you don't know who he is.
