This.

While past performance is no indicator of future results, the most important indicator for Mr. Trump is his consistent success. He knows how to get things done successfully.

Meh... Obama was in office for less than 6 months and had accomplished absolutely nothing when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I think we can begrudge Mr. Trump the hearts of his fans.

Here's a confession - I've never tried weed. Even when I was in Amsterdam. I don't know, just don't really care about it.

Though if it becomes legal, I might try it once, just to see. Not sure though. Is it a feeling like being drunk?

That had me dying. Basically showed the world that a Nobel Peace prize has become the equivalent of a participation trophy. The other one that had me laughing was when they handed a peace prize to Al Gore for his little global warming crusade, while the runner up that year was a Catholic nurse who saved hundreds of Jewish babies from the Warsaw Ghetto. She did this by putting her ass on the line on a damn near daily basis and smuggling them out.

I'm not holding Obama out there either as the best president, the way I see it, he's gone, so he also is in the past.

And I actually do really agree with you on the liberals selling koolaid, that's how Turdeau got elected. I have no love for the liberals, and you and I are probably closely aligned there. But recognize that there is koolaid being sold on both sides and avoid buying into it.

Just take a step back and judge based on actions, that's what I'm saying. Maybe he'll be really good. Maybe he won't. Either way, its simply too early to tell.

Don't follow this stuff, but seriously? And they picked Gore over her? If so, then what you say is certainly an 'inconvenient truth'.

Nobel Peace prize is all politics. The woman's name was Irena Sendler.

Considering the republicans own the white house and congress.... much will hopefully be accomplished for the good of the USA and the world overall.

For me, the difference between Trump and Obama is Trump has a consistent success record.
Obama....what exactly did he do prior to beating HRC in 2008??!!
Other than being a community organizer...and a "lecturing " appointed professor. The bar was set so high for "Hope and Change" that it is laughable.

Yeah he had charisma but zero substance. It was so predictable even before he was elected. Horrible economy, terrible foreign policy. Big taxes, big government, destroy healthcare, etc, etc, etc. Its a testament to the US economy that it did as well as it did despite all the hinderances and impediments obama threw at it.

I remember watching ABC on election night, and the expressions of the panel and George Stephanolopis

About 10 PM - the liberal's started to point fingers and try to 'get in front' of who was to blame

It was like watching a car crash in a loop....

I don't know if you ever seen the movie Downfall; it was about Hitler's last days. There is a famous sense in the movie that has been parodied on Youtube about a million times.. It's basically Hitler flipping the fuck out on his generals, looking to lay some serious blame.. That's how election night went for the the Democrats. It was basically grand opening, grand closing.

I've seen this parody on the VW Diesel scandal (and other topics) several times. Just as funny now

Obama accomplished a lot

None of it was productive though........unless you consider booby trapping the economy, currency, foreign relations and the bureucracy.

Trump is inheriting a literal house of cards

True. He has a real hole. Not the easy one obams had. But reagan did too and except for the infrastructure build he's following the Reagan model so I'm optimistic
