I've got some Weld RT-S wheels on order for it & my R888 tires for the rear are waiting to be mounted to them so I have SOME traction. No DRs for me as I like to turn.

What does TD stand for?
Test drive, haha.

Wait, I thought you were trading in the Orange beast?

Hell no, if I do let her go, I'll be selling myself. I'd lose my ass trading in.

We're abbreviating that now?

Hop on the forum I mentioned. I bet someone local w/a modded one would take you for a ride.

I understand your dilemma fully - had the same shopping dilemma.
Definitely a first-world problem!

In the end I bought an M4 because: warranty.
Few things beat the joy of having your car serviced for nothing!

Z51 is great bang for buck, but I have owned a Corvette before: reliability and the dealer service was enough to make me dry-heave. I'll never buy another American car.

The GTR is nice but you will have to service it every 2K or so.

If you can get a good 911, the performance & reliability will be worth the extra money.

So with the M235i modded to the point short of an engine rebuild, the next toy will be a couple years coming. However, I don't think the players will change too much.

My ONLY issue with the 911 Turbo is buyers remorse because the "new" one is always so much better. What do you guys think?

Caveat: In my mind the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 and the 1996-1998 911 Turbo/Turbo S variants will FOREVER be the best "Turbos" ever.

LMAO!!!

Both of my cars are older now. I've had my 2008 135i(89400K on it) since '09, it's great and I daily a 2010 Audi S4 with 110000 on it. Totally reliable and a great car for daily driving.
135i has 485whp on E85
S4 has 418whp on 93
I'd get the a pure turbo system and enjoy your 235i!

So I did get Pure Stage 2 and here's my current dilemma:

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...7#post21028487

Please let me know if on the 135i you've experienced any rear-end issues with all that power. I'm even experiencing Mustang-like sideways action when applying part throttle at lower speeds (<40mph). I normally drive on the 455whp (not 414whp)/388wtq setting and not on the full race gas 505whp/500wtq setting.

No rear end issues...ever, I've also had a Koala Motorsports race diff since 09 along with M3 Rear Subframe Bushings/Mounts - Group N .

Used 991 turbo when the prices fall a bit in the years to come. Only issue is that they will be PDK only.

997 interior looks a bit dated and not in a good way like the 993 interior looks dated.
