I think she trained for about 6 months on several 10k foot peaks within driving distance of Los Angeles. Then she slept in an altitude canopy leading up to leaving for Africa.

Really dumb questions, what were the temps like on your hike to the summit? And what did you guys do for water?

Between 10F and 50F mainly, depending entirely on clouds.

Water came from the nature flows from the mountain and was purified with tablets
