It's going to be my first time going to the Florida Disney... any cheap/good hotels recommendations? I am looking for something cheap/nice/and close to disney world. I was looking on priceline.com for some packages, any other good sites to get pkgs? thanks!

Ha HA.... Good AND CHEAP??? DISNEY???
Not likely, they are largely exclusive ideas. Best bet, seriously (cause Florida is a shit hole) STAY AT Disney. The big Resort Megahotels Swan&Dolphin are all pretty nice and located appropriately. Good luck.

Oh if you insist, check out Kissimee FL, it's pretty close. But really, I'd just stay on the resort, there is nothing to see worthwhile outside the gates...

There are a few resorts situated in disney world. They have good standards and have the convenience of disney shuttles/water taxis etc to get you the any of the main parks.
If you're looking for budget accomodations, look around kissimmee (just outside the disneyworld gates), there are tons on W Irlo Bronson highway. The hotels are also closely located to various restaurants, diners, convenience stores etc.

I stayed at the Hilton when I was there 2 years ago. It's still considered a "resort hotel," even though it was right across the street from Downtown Disney. It was a very nice hotel (it should be, considering it was a Hilton) and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

If you're taking your kids or some kids do yourself a favor and just stay at one of Disney's resort hotels. Preferably one of the ones connected to the monorail as well. The resorts not connected to the monorail you have to take a bus which I don't think those have AC. Plus if you stay in the park you can go to the the various theme parks 1 hour earleir and stay 1 hour later then people not staying in the parks.

Check this site out. It will have most of the info you need to know.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...iewPage&bhcp=1 The thing about Disney is if you want to be a cheap ass and cut corners to save some money you won't have a overall great experience. Just suck it up and pay to play. The only people that have the luxury of cheaping out on Disney World are the people that live in the general Orlando, FL area. Everyone else you better expect to drop some cash.

Sorry for being a little abrupt. My ex's father in law worked for Disney and I learned a lot about the park over the 3 years of dating and went like 7 times for free. That place somehow never gets old. I kinda miss going since we broke up haha. I miss Disney not the ex haha

One that I would recommend outside is Sheraton Safari Suites in Lake Buena Vista, usually around $130/night or so... They also have a free transportation to Disney... We're taking our kids this weekend and staying at Int'l Drive Suites hotel... |
