Deload?

So I've been training three times a week total body with progressive overload. This past week I've been experiencing some soreness but it seems like it's tendon pain or so. Just randomly occurring dull aches all the way from side delt down to elbow and forearms on the left side only.

I guess my options are:

Rest it out
Alternative lifts or lower weight more reps

Or should I do a deload type of week or two?

Rest, plenty of water and possibly a deep tissue massage. Being in SoCal, look up a local dispensary that carries CBD oil.
