Car Jackings in Birmingham, UK - What would you do?
Hello all,
Some of you may be aware of the issues we are having in Bham re car jackings on a hourly. It seems to be an epidemic that the police cant get a grip of. Take a look at the footage below. How would you respond to this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-engl...ing-in-shirley The norm seems to be for Audis and VWs at the moment. |

Do you drive with your family in the car?
If so, buy a POS to use until the wave subsides, or move to a different area.

Assuming I could not drive around (rather than through) that area or otherwise avoid it, I would keep nothing of value in my car that was not on me (in pockets, etc), fully insure it with a replacement cost policy if available, and have zero deductible.
Here in the States, I’d be armed (and loaded), too. That way I have a choice. |

UK car crime is lowest in 20 years. It fell by 80% since 1993.
